It’s been quite a while since I’ve been able to compile and send out a newsletter; since last June, in fact. It’s been an incredibly busy summer and fall 2013 for me, with several large musical projects on the go. I’ve been completing several commissions for musical arrangements for vocal groups, and that’s taken most of my time.
And as you likely know, I’ve finally finished my book, “Beating Songwriter’s Block”, which is now being published and printed, and available for sale in the coming weeks or months.
So now that I’ve been able to get those items off my list, I should be able to get back to providing the newsletter with a bit more regularity. For those who have written me to ask if it’s still being written and provided, thanks for your patience!

I began getting your Essential Secrets blog by e-mail, around the same time I purchased your 6-eBook Bundle. Enjoying it immensely. Although I’m a trained composer, I find your tips invigorating – seems you’re never stuck for an idea!
So that said, what is the difference between your blog e-mail and your Quick-Tips Newsletter, which appears to be monthly. No matter I guess – I’m happy to subscribe. I read you every day. Thanks for all you’re doing.

Thanks for writing, and glad you enjoy the tips. There’s not a huge difference, although the articles I write for the newsletter don’t appear on the blog, at least not for a longish while. And once in a while there are goodies and free offers which will appear in the newsletter before anywhere else. Once my schedule allows (which may be this coming month, finally!) my plan is to expand the offerings of the newsletter, and include more guest articles, and song analyses that are more involved than what I can do on the blog.
