I’ve been thoroughly enjoying 3 days of adjudicating at the Truro (Nova Scotia) Music Festival. It’s mainly concert bands that I’ve been listening to, and the festival gives me the opportunity to do workshops with the students. We are certainly blessed with some very fine, dedicated music teachers who work hard to bring out and enhance the talents of young people.
Adjudicating means that it’s been impossible for me to find time to write songwriting articles, but I finish my duties with the festival today. Tomorrow morning will be travel time as I make my way back home.
So I am hoping to have a new songwriting article finished and posted sometime later on Thursday.
In the meantime, I’m ready to dive back in and listen to the hard work of some wonderful young musicians!
Have a great day!
